SEN Learning Resources

The Loyne Specialist School has developed a range of SEN(Special Educational Needs) learning resources to help both mainstream and special school staff meet the needs of youngsters. Many of these have developed following requests from other schools for handwriting programmes, SEN PE ideas and lesson plans and SEN language activities.

We have placed an emphasis on easy to follow guidance because we understand that school staff are busy people! Wherever possible we have developed training DVDs to show good practice and suitable teaching strategies.

These packs have been extensively piloted in other schools with a range of children and focus on "tried and tested" teaching ideas and strategies. We have ensured that all our suggestions are written for the non-specialist, are easy to implement and do make a difference!
