This resource is designed for Reception and Key Stage 1 pupils who have clear difficulties with gross/fine motor skills, concentration and/or organisation. It can be used for children with a Development Coordination Disorder/Dyspraxia diagnosis.
The colourful file contains 15 laminated lesson plans, (ideally 30 minute small group or individual sessions for a teaching assistant to deliver); initial and final assessment; pupil target form and recording sheets.
The six areas of focus are spatial and body awareness, balance, crossing the midline, proximal stability and hand-eye coordination. No specialist equipment is needed.
