This DVD is designed for staff working with children with significant communication difficulties, particularly those working at a pre-verbal level. Many of the suggestions are particularly relevant for youngsters with an Autistic Spectrum Disorder.
Music Interaction shows how the implementation of fun musical games and activities by a non-specialist can encourage anticipation, turn taking and imitation which are pre-requisites for successful communication. Included with the DVD is an information booklet giving additional ideas and resources.
Activities are designed for work with individual children or very small groups.
