TEACCH was developed in North Carolina by Eric Schopler in the 1970's originally for pupils on the autistic spectrum.
This training DVD shows how we adopted and adapted many of the ideas from TEACCH methodology with outstanding success at The Loyne Specialist School.
In this DVD you will see examples of classroom layout including work stations, visual timetables, individual work schedules, independent work tasks, some showing the use of jigs and an interview with a class teacher from a mainstream primary school talking about the impact of adopting Teacch ideas within the classroom.
